B&W's and quote-ography

So, this first image is something I have played with a few times in the past. I love the concept of using my photography along with some of my favorite quotes, or poem parts. The one below is of an image I took and then the quote is one I read in a book. I absolutely love the quote. It hits me on so many different levels. It is the perfect amount of curiosity, strangeness, and perfectly me.

The rest of these images are just parts and pieces of different shoots I did a few months ago.

Photograpoetry....

This is an image of mine, with a line from one of my favorite poems. The poem was written by Traci Brimhall, from Rookery. The poem is called The Light in the Basement. I highly recommend this book. I fell in love with her words from the night I saw her read them here in Racine. I was hooked. I have a plan of using lines from her poems and other pieces of literature that I like and create a series like this. I call it photograpoetry, but we shall see if that name sticks....
