Spring flowers

I know spring has come and gone, but I can't help being excited about the change that takes place during that time. It is such an awakening and magnificent time of the year. These images are of my Oxalis plant that I adore. It produces these small white flowers that only last a short time. The plants foliage is this wonderful deep plum color, while the stems are wiggly lime green color. I specially think the black and white image would be perfect blown up into a large size of 24x24 and hung on a living room wall or even a bedroom wall.

Happy viewing!

Senior Pictures

I was fortunate to take my nieces' senior pictures this year. She is graduating from high school early, and these pictures were needed on short notice since she didn't think she could be in the senior section of the year book. So, of course I made sure I could do them. This was fun, as always with her. She is a natural model for the most part. These pictures were fun because the lighting was just right outside, and she was up for anything. I love looking at these pictures. They make me want to do senior pictures more often...

Flower sculpture

Afternoon with the flowers

This is a tree that blossoms right outside my old apartment. Every year my dad and I would anticipate when the tree would be in full bloom. This past summer, I spent a lot of time with that tree. I felt so connected to it and enjoyed all the days/night sitting under it staring at the magnetic pink of the blossoms.
